The Adelaide L. Sanford Institute (ASI) is pleased to announce the second year of the ASI HS Scholarship Program.
The award (2024) is 2000 dollars each for five graduating seniors attending High Schools in Central Brooklyn. Scholarships awarded are limited to cover tuition, supplies, fees, and books.
To apply for a scholarship, students must meet the following eligibility requirements. The student must:
1. Be a graduating High School Senior at a high school in Central Brooklyn.
2. Have been accepted to and enrolled at a two- or four-year college at the time of the award.
3. Have a GPA of at least 2.5
4. Be available for a 10–15-minute virtual Zoom interview if you are among the ten finalists for the award.
5. Complete the online application that will require a(an)
a. Copy of current transcript
b. Recommendation letter from a school official
c. 300-500 word essay
d. Academic Resume (A resume that includes academic and athletic accomplishments, extra-curricular activities, community service, and school service)
